Vendor Fair

The 2016 Neighborhood Summit Vendor Fair will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 8:00am-4:00pm.

The purpose of the Vendor Fair is to support and connect neighborhood-based organizations, businesses and non-profit organizations. The Vendor Fair offers participants the opportunity to network with local business, partner organizations or neighborhood services while learning about issues and opportunities in their community.

 

Center For Neighborhoods would like to extend an invitation to you and your company or non-profit organization to be a part of our Vendor Fair. You will have the opportunity to present your organization, services and products to hundreds of neighborhood leaders and local government leaders as well as other businesses and non-profit organizations from across Metro Louisville.

Vendor Booths include:
  • Full 6' or 8' table including name signage on or above your table.

  • Basic table covering (if needed)

  • Signage with Company/Organization name on or above your table

  • Space for two staff/table attendents 

  • Access for display setup:

    • Friday, June 3 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. or

    • Saturday, June 4 from 7:00-7:45 a.m.

Additional FAQs

 

Q. Will you be providing table coverings?

A. Yes, we will have plain table coverings available for free upon request at the Registration Booth. The table coverings will cover the table top but not cover to the floor. We encourage vendors to bring your own. Each table will be 6’ or 8’ depending on location.

 

Q. Will you be providing signage for each booth?

A. Yes, we will provide signage  with your organizations name on or above your table. You may also bring banners, posters, floor stands, etc.

 

Q. What does my space look like?

A. 6’ or 8’ tables and chairs will be provided. We will have some extra chairs available upon request. Fair layout and booth locations will be posted at the Neighborhood Summit and directly emailed to vendors before the event. If you need to request additional tables, please see ‘2016 Vendor Registration’

 

Q. Does the Expo Center have free Wi-Fi?

A. No, the Expo Center will not provide free Wi-Fi access. Vendors can access "Instant Internet" in the main lobby of West Hall for $12.95 per device for 24 hour periods.

 

Q. Will I have electricity at my booth?

A. There is a limited supply electricity.  Vendors can add electricity during Regular Registration for an additional fee. 

 

Q. Can I donate a door prize for the Neighborhood Summit?

A. Yes.  We would love vendor door prizes.  You can contact Center For Neighborhoods at (502) 589-0343 to coordinate a time for volunteers to be collect door prizes from you before the event begins or you can bring them to the Registration Booth during setup.

 

Q. Will food or water be provided/available for the vendors?

A. There is water available throughout the Expo Center. No food will be provided for vendors but vendors are also eligible to register and participate in the Neighborhood Summit.  Event tickets include breakfast, lunch & parking and are available for $15.  

 

Q. Can I sell products at my booth?

A. Only pre-approved vendors may sell products at their booths. Discounts and coupons may be handed out at any booth for purchases made later and giveaways are encouraged.

 

Q. Will there be people to help me unload/load?

A. No. Vendors will be responsible for unloading, getting materials to and from vehicles to tables and setup and teardown. If possible, please bring your own dolly as we will have a limited number available.

 

Q. Can I start tearing down early if my booth is slow?

A. No. We ask that you stay at your booth for the entire event. Clean-up for the fair will begin at 3:30 pm. We ask that all booths remain open until at lease 2:45 when the final session starts. At a minimum, vendor tables must be staffed between 8:00-9:15 a.m. as well as 12:15-1:15 p.m.

 

Q. What is the refund policy for vendor registration?

A. Vendor ticket purchases are refundable in full until May 1, 2016.  If you are unable to attend after registering please contact Center For Neighborhoods via email at info@centerforneighborhoods.org.

 

Q. Who can I call if I have questions the morning of the Neighborhood Summit?

A. Event coordinators will be on site the day of the event and available to answer questions. If you have questions about the event before June 4 please contact the Center For Neighborhoods office at (502) 589-0343.

 

Q. Is the Event outside?

A. No, the Neighborhood Summit is entirely inside and under roof at Kentucky Expo Center - West Hall.
