Please share
one thing that nobody would guess about you, something
that is odd, outrageous, or uncommon.
Why are you
involved with the Center For Neighborhoods?
I was educated as a Landscape Architect at
the University of Virginia and have worked
on projects ranging in size from small backyard
private gardens to City of Chicago streetscapes
and suburban corporate and university campuses
to major urban redevelopment projects in London
and Amsterdam. The primary principles and
process of design are exactly the same in all
of these settings but the most job satisfaction
comes from being involved with projects that
touch the most lives. Working with neighborhoods
in Louisville offers the opportunity to collaborate
with residents, Metro agency personnel, and
neighborhood leaders in the joint effort to
improve the everyday quality of life of the
most people.
